KARI IS A UNIQUE INDIVIDUAL WITH A SPARKLING PERSONALITY AND A SELFLESSNESS THAT HAS SOMEHOW INTENSIFIED AS HER PAIN HAS INCREASED AND HER PHYSICAL CONDITION HAS DETERIORATED.

Kari Mason has worked at Novell for 16 years and has been instrumental in Novell's annual BrainShare event. In 2003 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been an inspiration to many due to the strength and grace she has exhibited throughout this trial. In 2005, after multiple rounds of chemo, and through difficult circumstances, Kari miraculously delivered her daughter Ellie. Kari and her husband Evan have continually shown gratitude for the love and support of their friends and family. They have been though countless highs and lows through the past 4 years and have maintained a faith-filled perspective as Kari's cancer has spread throughout her body. Kari's time on earth is now estimated in weeks and she is enjoying quiet moments with her family. It would be hard to overestimate the number of lives that Kari has touched. Her story has prompted not only loved ones, but many who she has never met to ask how they can help.
